For most of the past 10 years, I’ve used a trackpad on my Mac. However, due to a failure of both my Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard to “do their Magic”, I decided to use some old review keyboards and mice until I make a decision on replacing my old iMac. Mice tend to work better on mouse pads, which are usually slightly rougher than desktops and allow for better tracking, so when Toast offered me a test drive of one of their $39 leather mouse pads ($49 for the large size), I took them up on the offer.
