Apple continues to surprise me, even after 35 years of using the company’s products. Today I needed to order an Apple Pencil 2 because of an upcoming article I’m working on. I’m quite busy, so I didn’t want to take the time to run over to either of the two Apple retail outlets that are nearby and decided to order using the Apple Store app. Well, imagine my surprise when I saw an option for two hour delivery! For $9, that Apple Pencil will be delivered in two hours by courier.

Apple retail announces new store design, "Today at Apple" events

Apple announced today that the top 100 Apple stores worldwide will be redesigned to include a "grove" of live trees, meeting spaces, and large, dominating video screens like that in the new Apple Union Square retail outlet in San Francisco. In addition, 495 locations that are properly equipped will add a new educational event series called "Today at Apple".

Apple offers online personal Watch setup

Apple has been sending emails to customers scheduled to receive their Apple Watch today, urging them to schedule an online Watch setup with an employee. Apple has done One to One sessions for customers at Apple Stores, but this is the first I've seem offer such a service via live online video. It's pretty cool and I imagine a nice way to familiarize people with an altogether new product.
