Rumor: iOS 11, macOS 10.13 to feature app based on Workflow

iOS 11 and macOS 10.3 — which will be previewed at next month’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference — will offer a new Automator app that integrates the functionality from the recently-acquired Workflow app, according to the Redmond Pie site, citing an unnamed “individual posting about Apple’s upcoming plans.”

Apple buys Workflow, an iOS automation tool

Apple is acquiring Workflow, an iOS tool that lets you hook together apps and functions within apps in strings of commands to automate tasks, according to TechCrunch. Terms of the deal haven't been announced but the team behind the app — Ari Weinstein, Conrad Kramer, Ayaka Nonaka and Nick Frey — are coming to work for the Cupertino, California-based company.
