Apple Pay expanding to four new countries by the end of 2017

One of the throwaway comments from yesterday afternoon's Apple earnings call (link to recording) was actually big news: Apple Pay will expand to Denmark, Finland, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates by year's end, meaning that the service will be available in 20 countries.

Flagship Apple Store in the works for Stockholm

The Swedish daily newspaper Expressen reports that Apple is close to unveiling plans for a new flagship Apple Store in central Stockholm. The newspaper says that Apple retail head Angela Ahrendts has been involved in negotiations with city officials, with the company hoping to open the new store in the next two years.
