Apple leases Sunnyvale buildings, perhaps for its (rumored) car project

Apple has leased a former FedEx warehouse, an old Pepsi bottling plant, an old chip fab, and "innumerable nondescript" office and R&D buildings in Sunnyvale, California, reports the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The article hints that these may be used for Apple’s car project (a project that the company hasn’t officially confirmed).
