News round-up: Goldman Sachs betting on the customer-first features of upcoming Apple Card (and more)

Omer Ismail, who leads Goldman Sachs's Marcus division, said the online bank is using the unique customer-first features of the upcoming Apple Card to gain a toehold in a new market. Coming this summer, Apple’s credit card will be built into the Apple Wallet app on the iPhone, allowing customers to manage their card right on the smartphone. Apple is partnering with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard to provide the support of an issuing bank and global payments network.
