You may not have to have a great credit score to quality for an Apple Card

Goldman Sachs, which is in charge of deciding who gets the Apple Card, is accepting some applications from users with less-than-stellar credit scores, according to people with knowledge of the matter, reports CBNC.

The article says the tech giant wanted its bank partner to create a technology platform to approve as many of its 100 million-plus iPhone users in the U.S. as possible, within the bounds of regulations and responsible lending, according to the people.

The Apple Card, which should be more widely available any day now, will be built into the Apple Wallet app on the iPhone, allowing customers to manage their card right on the smartphone. The Goldman Sachs Group is an American multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City.
