Apple has announced Made in LDN sessions that will be held Aug. 10-Sept. 3 at Apple retail stores across London.
The tech giant says the creative sessions are designed to help participants “learn new skills and shape your artistic style in music, video, coding and more.” You can sign up starting July 31.
Made in LDN, created in partnership with City Hall, will offer bi-weekly sessions, which will also include workshops on photography and health and fitness tech. According to the Evening Standard, the program will initially launch with 10 community groups already working with at-risk young people, selected by the Mayor’s Young Londoners Fund.
They include north London-based Art Against Knives, which runs art projects with 10 to 25-year-olds, and Croydon’s City Listeners, which supports young people aged 12 to 18 identified as being ‘at risk’ with mentors, 1:1 sessions and group workshops to build key life skills.
