You have probably been seeing a lot of this type of post over the past couple of weeks. This post pertains to a new regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), created by the EU Parliament to ensure that users’ electronic data across all organizations is protected and those organizations will be more transparent with how that data is used. This new regulation takes effect May 26th 2018.
What are we going to do?
We have always taken data protection and your privacy seriously and will continue to do so. This is just an update on our commitment to transparency and fulfilling the requirements set forth by the GDPR.
More transparency on how and why we use your data and with whom it is shared;
More control we will offer over your personal data; and
Simple summaries of sections that are easy to understand.
