Berkshire Hathaway had 15.2 million shares of Apple stock at the end of June

Berkshire Hathaway, the multinational conglomerate run by Warren Buffett, disclosed in a regulatory filing on Monday that it had 15.2 million shares of Apple as of the end of June, or just under $1.5 billion worth. As noted by CNN Money, that that marks a 55% increase from the 9.8 million shares Berkshire had in the first quarter.

Berkshire first disclosed a purchase $1 billion worth of Apple stock in a May filing. Earlier this year, Carl Icahn, another billionaire investor, disclosed that his firm had sold off its entire stake in Apple due to concerns about competition in China.
