Apple places number five on Tenet Partners’ “100 Most Powerful Brands of 2016.” Ut’s proceeded by Coca-Cola, Hershey, Bayer, and Walt Disney. It’s the same spot the company held in 2015.
All ranked companies must be: a corporate brand (not a product or divisional branding), publicly traded in the U.S. for more than five years; and tracked by the CoreBrand Index for more than five years. The Index calculates the average for a sector or a custom benchmarking list. The performance of each company is displayed relative to the industry average.
Tenet Partners says Apple is "one of the fastest-rising brands among the companies tracked" in the index. In 2016, all of Apple's metrics rose, with overall reputation climbing the most since last year's assessment.
