Macphun is one of our favorite development companies here at Apple World Today, as it has a lightning focus on creating excellent photography apps for Mac. Today the company announced the availability of Filters for Photos, a free Mac app and Photos extension that provides 30 unique filters to make your photos stand out.
All you need to do in order to get the app is click that link above and click the big green "Download for Free" button. When you launch the app, you'll be asked to join Macphun's email list to turn on 15 of the filters, or you can decline and still have 15 pretty impressive filters to play with.
To add Filters for Photos as an extension to the Mac Photos app, just go to System Preferences > Extensions > Photos and check the box next to Filters for Photos. After this is done, you'll see the filters under the extensions when editing a photo.
If you like what you see for free, consider Macphun's Creative Kit 2016, which provides a complete set of photographic tools including FX Photo Studio, Intensify, Noiseless, Snapheal and Focus.
