Mac OS X Apps/Updates
Upspace has announced Upspace 1.0.1 for OS X. It’s an update to their menubar uploader for Dropbox. Using the Dropbox infrastructure, it was built specifically for those who need to share a lot of screenshots and files during the day.
Just choose a file and drag it to the menubar. Ups pace provides you with a short link automatically copied to your clipboard so that you can use to share your upload with co-workers and friends. Version 1.0.1 includes various bug fixes.
Upspace 1.0.1 requires OS X 10.10 or later. It costs $3.99 and is available through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category.
KnowledgeMiner Software has released Insights 5.0 for OS X. It’s an update to its alternative and supplemental tool to established confirmatory science based modeling approaches.

Ergonis Software has announced Typinator 6.9, a new version of their text expander for Mac OS X.
It’s a tool for automating the process of inserting frequently used text and auto-correcting typing errors. Version 6.9 offers improved import of TextExpander snippets, an extended DOuble CAps exceptions set, support for the Sogou input methods for Chinese, and more.
Typinator requires Mac OS X 10.6 or newer. The upgrade to Typinator 6.9 is free for anyone who owns a valid license for Typinator 6.x. Upgrade paths are available for owners of older licenses. For new users the price is $24.99.
IOSPIRIT has cooked up Remote Buddy Display 1.1 for Apple TV. It’s an update of the solution for your Mac remote control needs.
Version 1.1 allows users to see, hear and control their Mac from their Apple TV using the Siri Remote with Remote Buddy's free tvOS companion app. Remote Buddy Display also now includes support for audio and Bluetooth keyboards. A new Audio menu inside the app provides users with the ability to select a different system audio output, as well as to control volume.
A demo of Remote Buddy for Mac OS X is available for download; registration is $24.99 for a single user license. Buddy Display is a free app and available on the Apple TV App Store.
iOS Apps/Updates for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Pixtolab has introduced Mix on Pix 1.0. The $1.99 app lets you create a social post with pictures and texts. It includes texts, annotations, watermarks, photos, logos and more. What’s more, Mix on Pix offers stock texts, stock art, and access to 477 available fonts.
MySpecialDays have launched a self-titled app that “makes special days even more special, with deals and gifts, delivered by email, on the days that are special.” With the free app, users choose from businesses like restaurants, jewelers, hotels, entertainment and more, then specify what days are special, such as Mother's Day, your anniversary, birthdays, and more. Just before those special days, users receive special deals by email.
Andrew Kaz has conjured up Magic Radio. Open the $1.99 app, and you’ll hear your library as pop hits and singles like with a “real” radio. Turn the dial to change the song.
