I love Apple user groups, and one of the more venerable groups out there is Washington Apple Pi. Formed in 1978 and still going strong, Washington Apple Pi is a vibrant and active group for Apple fans in the Washington, DC area. This Saturday, April 23, I'm the guest speaker for the April General Meeting of the Washington Apple Pi.
Guess what I'm talking about? The iPad Pro and how it's the "best laptop you'll ever own." Basically, I am a huge believer that the iPad Pro and its descendants will be the future of portable Apple computing, although at the present time there are some limitations. Exactly what those limitations are and who can safely use an iPad Pro to do work is what the talk is all about.
The General Meeting runs from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at George Mason University (link to directions). I'll be setting up my iPad mini as a uber-Skype-cam and look forward to the fun.
