Mac OS X Apps/Updates
Eltima Software has debuted Uplet 1.0 for OS X, a bulk image uploader for Instagram.
It enables uploading any number of pictures to an Instagram account at once without compromising their quality. The app's photo editor allows you to set captions and crop pictures to fit the square frame or leave the original image dimensions. Captions and emojis help express ideas and emotions behind pictures, while hashtags can help expand their reach.
Uplet requires OS X 10.9 or later. It costs $19.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Photography category.
St. Clair Software has released Default Folder X 5.0.2, an update to their Mac utility that enhances the file dialogs in all Mac OS X applications. It provides fast navigation to your files, previews, integrated Spotlight tagging, and more. Default Folder X's custom keyboard shortcuts put your favorite and recent folders at your fingertips. Version 5.0.2 improves both performance and compatibility on El Capitan.
Default Folder X 5.0.2 requires OS X Yosemite or El Capitan and is a free update for existing version 5 users. New licenses are $34.95, and upgrades from version 4 and prior are $14.95.
Dejal Systems has announced TimeOut 2, an update to their break reminder app for Mac OS X.

AppGeneration has introduced Music by myTuner - Free Player and Streamer 1.0. The free (for now) app links users to YouTube playlists. Music by myTuner offers 15 music genres that users may use to play selected radio stations. Users can discover songs in a variety of ways and import them to their favorite songs or playlists. They can also search their country's chart or search all the songs and video clips directly on YouTube.

Intelligent Apps has revved FlexBright to version 2. The $2.99 app will continuously monitor exposure to blue light from your device and prompt you to change brightness if high eyestrain is detected. Version 2.0 adds a blue light filter to the iPhone, iPad and iPod. It allows users to automatically adjust the brightness and blue light level of their mobile devices based on the time of day.
