During today's event, Apple quickly whipped through the Apple Watch, just noting that it is "the world's best selling smartwatch" and that about a third of all users own more than one Watch band. Well, today the company surprised us by not only adding a new space gray Milanese Loop band, but a lot of colors in the Classic Buckle and Sport Band lines, as well as an entirely new type of band made of Woven Nylon. You can check them all out here.
First, the Sport Band is now available in a whopping 22 colors, including a (PRODUCT)RED band in the well known trademark color. All of the Sport Bands sell for $49.
Next, there are seven new Woven Nylon bands, also priced at $49 each. The bands are two or three-tone, in gold/red, gold/royal blue, royal blue, pink, pearl, scuba blue, and black. The woven nylon is designed to give a comfortable feel.
The $149 Classic Buckle is now available in nine different colors, and it appears that the Modern Buckle is now in seven shades. Or you can always choose from 10 different Hermes Apple Watches...
All in all, there are 107 different bands for Apple Watches! Apple also reduced the price of the Watch Sport, which can be purchased for as little as $299 now.
We're still waiting for watchOS 2.2 to drop, hopefully today.
