Apple is set to open its largest Florida retail store yet in downtown Miami, reports the South Florida Business Journal. The Cupertino, California-based company has signed a lease with the developer of Brickell City Centre, a $1.05 billion, mixed-use project in Miami’s financial district with residential towers under construction all around it.
The 500,000-square-foot mall at Brickell City Centre is slated to open in fall 2016. It would be anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and include the first Cinemex dine-in theater in the U.S. More than 70 stores have been announced for the project, with many of them luxury retailers and restaurants.
The company has 481 retail stores in 18 countries and an online store available in 39 countries.
