The magnetic cover allows for two different stand positions. “Viewing mode” is upright with the screen horizontal. “Typing mode” is also horizontal, but with a slight downward slope from the top. Both modes work well for their assigned tasks and the magnetic strips are strong.
If you want to view the screen vertically, I found that engaging the stand makes for a good handle or grip. I actually use this mode every time I use my iPad mini.
The C6 isn't drastically different from other cases out there, and it's not inexpensive (it costs approximately US$58). But it does its job well. Enjoy the simplicity.
