No sooner had the Apple "Hey Siri" event been announced than Apple World Today started receiving information from case manufacturers about their lines for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Fortunately for all of the manufacturers, they could all breathe a sign of relief since Apple changed the dimensions of the phones so little that the same cases made for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus could be used for the new phones. Well, some manufacturers chose to release new cases anyway, and one of those is the Moshi iGlaze Napa (US$49.95), a very classy looking snap-on case for Apple's latest iPhones.
Moshi's design sense is one of the best in the industry, and the iGlaze Napa demonstrates that perfectly. The case is essentially a standard polycarbonate snap on case with a leatherette backing to it, but the design is very nice. The side and top pieces of the iGlaze Napa use a metallic looking plastic while the rim around the iPhone bezel and the bottom are made of a complementary rubberized material. That gives the case some extra protection, since the harder shell protects against shocks while the rubberized material cushions the blow.
The back of the case is covered with a leatherette material. I tried the midnight blue case, which looks stunning on the Space Gray iPhone 6s Plus. It also comes in caramel beige, onyx black, and burgundy red finishes. There's a cutout on the back of the case for the Apple logo, so there's no hiding your loyalty to the Cupertino company.
The iGlaze Napa is easy to install and take off... except I'm not sure you'll want to take it off. It looks great, and the protection it provides for your new iPhone will make you want to put it on as soon as you take the phone out of its box.
My only concern is the price, which seems a little high for a case of this type. On the other hand, if you're looking for a protective case that looks absolutely great on your new iPhone, the iGlaze Napa is one to consider.
