With all of the great new things coming out for Apple devices, it's not surprising that Apple will be adding a new "Move to iOS" app in iOS 9 that will make it fast and simple for Android users to wirelessly transfer information to a new iOS device.
The app is shown on Apple's iOS 9 preview web page and it's noted that Android users can move photos and video, bookmarks, mail accounts, contacts, message histories, and even wallpapers between devices. However, DRM-protected music, video and ebooks won't be moved over.
Next, the app actually analyzes the free Android apps on a device and then makes suggestions on how to rebuild or replace those items with iOS versions. If an app is a paid app, it's added to the user's iTunes Wish List so that it can be purchased later.
Expect to see this capability this fall when iOS 9 ships.
