The Beatles will finally be available on streaming music services starting Christmas Eve, reports Re/code. Quoting unnamed industry sources, the article says the Fab Four’s music will stream on Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Prime Music, Tidal, and more.
However, the Beatles catalog won’t be available at Pandora, which doesn’t do direct deals with music owners so it can’t do on demand deals, but does have Beatles songs available via its Web radio service, which has various restrictions, notes Re/code.
Nor will the Fab Four’s albums be available at Rdio, mainly because it’s closed its doors. What’s more, unlike Taylor Swift, the Beatles will be available on the free versions of services like Spotify.
