If you use only Apple products (Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc.), you can probably handle all your syncing chores through iCloud, iTunes, iTunes Connect, etc. However, if you use other devices and online storage platforms, you should check out Eltima’s SyncMate, which allows you to sync just about anything with your Mac (if it’s running Mac OS X 10.8.5 or higher).
The latest version (6) has been revved for Mac OS X El Capitan. SyncMate is, as far as I know, the only sync tool that’s fully compatible with El Capitan (OS X 10.11) and offers syncing with Android and iOS, MTP and storage devices and Microsoft Office apps. It’s also the only Mac sync software I’m aware of that allows syncing Mac with multiple devices simultaneously.
The utility can not only sync data with several gadgets, but with online accounts and cloud storage options such as Outlook and Office 365, Google Drive, and Dropbox. It copies your data back and forth between myriad devices and online storage platforms.
SyncMate lets you sync your Calendars, Reminders, Contacts, Safari bookmarks, iTunes, and Photos. You can read and manage your SMS messages, as well as text your friends and watch through Call History directly from your Mac. What’s more, SyncMate can be implemented to sync your devices automatically in the background. The interface isn’t complicated, but it was initially a little confusing (as least to limited brain).
Also, if you’re dealing with a lot of devices and online storage options, it will take you a while to get everything set up. However, once you have everything enable, all file sync operations perform smoothly and quickly.
SyncMate 6 is available in free and expert editions. Contacts & Calendar entries are synced for free. The $39.95 expert offers you extra benefits such as syncing iTunes, Photos, folders, bookmarks and more.
