In case you haven't noticed, I haven't exactly been jumping at the opportunity to spend even more of my hard-earned cash on one of the new 4th-generation Apple TVs. I just don't watch that much TV. But one announcement is making my resolve quickly fade away -- Alto's Adventure ($2.99) is now available on the big screen.
Anyone who's played this snowboarding side-scroller with beautiful graphics and sound knows how addictive it is. Now your levels will transfer straight to the Apple TV version thanks to iCloud syncing.
The iOS app also got a bump to version 1.2, adding support for Apple TV syncing, MFi Game Controller support, the option to move the pause button to the right side of the screen, volume sliders in the settings menu, and the all-important choice of whether or not to use helmet or chasm rescues after crashing (this will make sense to you if you play the game!).
