Apple, U2 ride the Experience Bus with a VR music video

Apple and their musical buddies, U2, has teamed up for a virtual reality, 360-degree music video for “Song for Someone,” a song off the band’s Songs of Innocence album.

The music video is part of a larger Apple Music partnership with U2 called the Experience Bus, “which is basically an environment at concerts for U2 fans to come strap on Oculus headsets a’” music video and experience it alongside other fans,” according to TechCrunch. As you're watching the video, you get to interact with U2 as if you're standing on the e-stage as they perform. You also see other fans singing the song, too -- presumably sourced from several months ago when fans were invited to send the band videos of themselves singing the song. Unfortunately, unless you take a ride on the Experience Bus, you can’t see the Apple/U2 video.

The app used for the VR music video is Vrse. It’s available for free at the Apple App Store for iPhones and iPads running iOS 8.0 or later.
