Choo Choo Apps has introduced Choo Choo Boo 1.0.0. It’s a $1.99, Halloween themed educational app for children for iOS devices. It starts with a black and white scene of a neighborhood. Children color the different elements and Choo Choo characters.
Barnstorm Games has launched Evel Knievel. It’s a $1.99 motorcycle game that gives players an opportunity to perform all of the jumps at the historic sites where Evel performed the legendary stunts himself.
Ubisoft says that Care Bears Belly Match, a free-to-play match-three game, is now available. It takes players to the world of Care-a-Lot where the Care Bears need players’ help to make their world a happy place again. Players will switch, swap and match belly-badges through hundreds of levels.
Jan Essig has announced Toby Tarsier's Eye Fitness Workout 1.0.2. The $0.99 eyesight workout app is designed to help improve vision naturally. Eye Fitness Workout walks users through 14 exercises designed to maintain good eye health, and includes tasks to perform during the day. It also includes health tips, and important diet information to aid users in maintaining healthy eyes.
Tekton Technologies has released Easy Spending Expense Tracker 4.6, an update to their money tracker. The $1.99 app was designed for the iPhone. Version 4.6 has a new user interface and automatic backup feature.
Mac OS X Apps/Updates
MacXDVD Software has announced MacX DVD Ripper Pro 4.6.0, an update to their media conversion solution developed for Mac OS X.
It’s a general purpose utility that lets anyone decrypt, copy and rip DVDs to MP4, AVI, H.264, MOV, WMV, MKV and more to all Mac computers and laptops. Version 4.6.0 addresses a compatibility issue with El Capitan, offer performance enhancements and speed boosts.

Isle of the Kakapo has rolled out RailModeller Express 5.0, an update of the free model railroad and slot car layout design solution for Mac OS X.
It sports design tools that enable hobbyists to design model train and slot car track layouts via drag and drop. The app includes a library of parts covering over 200 track systems, allowing for custom designs of almost any layout a user can visualize. Layouts can be printed out, in sizes ranging from one page to full size.
RailModeller Express 3.0 requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later. It’s available at the Mac App Store in the Graphics and Design category. As mentioned, it’s free. However, there’s a $34.99 version (RailModeller Pro 5.0.12) that expands the number of track elements that can be used per layout, as well as the number of layers supported, and offers unlimited layout size.
Mireth Technology has released version 6.0.4 of ShredIt X, its file shredder and hard drive cleaner software for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds support for OS X El Capitan and addresses a maintenance issue with shredding CD RWs.
