<p class="">Being a long time World of Warcraft player and Mac user, I had wondered if World of Warcraft would be ported over to the new Apple M1 chip. About 10 p.m. Central time last night the following <a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/mac-support-update-november-16/722775" target="_blank" rel="noopener">forum post </a>was made on Blizzard:</p>

<p class="">There are some days and events that always stand out in one’s mind. Being very interested in technology and computers throughout the years, August 24, 1995, is a day I’ll always fondly remember with fondness. It was on that day that Windows 95 launched. It had been much hyped with the start button and commercials playing the line from The Rolling Stones, “Start Me Up.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">There will be a new iPhone in September, as well as iOS 14. This is pretty much a given. I do hope the new iPhone will have either a 90 or 120Hz screen refresh rate. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The main highlight for me was the release of the Mac Pro. I’ve always built my own systems in Windows and have long wanted a Mac where I could install my own graphics card, memory, storage, etc. The 2019 Mac Pro is an engineering marvel, and definitely my favorite product of 2019.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Dictation by Blueshift has been released on the Apple App Store. The developer was kind enough to give me a prerelease version to test. Voice dictation has always been one of the most valuable features of the iPhone. Dictation is much more than a recording app. As you record, it transcribes in real time.</p>
