The Apple Watch sees its third consecutive quarter of 50% growth

Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the Apple Watch saw unit growth of over 50% for the third consecutive quarter during Apple’s fiscal 2017 fourth quarter that ended Sept. 30. As usual, he didn’t mention how many units were sold.

“Customers love the freedom of the Apple Watch Series 3 cellular capability,” Cook says. “With its ability to go for a run or quick errand without your iPhone, it’s a game changer. Now more than ever, the Apple Watch is the ultimate device for healthy lives and is making a big different in customers’ lives.”

Apple’s entire wearable business was up over 75% year-over-year in fourth quarter. The business includes the AirPods and the Beats line of headphones.
