Apple announces details for live streaming the WWDC keynote

Apple has added a page for the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference to its events website, confirming plans to live stream the keynote event on June 13 at 10 a.m. (Pacific).

The keynote event, which will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, will be available on Macs and iOS devices via an event stream on and on the Apple TV through an events app. 

WWDC 2016 runs June 13-17 and will spotlight the future of OS X, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS. According to Apple, the Keynote and State of the Union “promise exciting reveals, providing inspiration and new opportunities to continue creating the most innovative apps in the world.” The most remarkable developers of the year will be honored at the Apple Design Awards.
