Rumor: iPhone SE seeing greater-than-expected demand

A report from DigiTimes says Apple has increased orders for the iPhone SE in the second quarter of 2016.

Quoting unnamed “industry sources,” the article says the second-quarter outlook for related chip orders has been revised to more than five million units from 3.5-4 million. The outlook for Apple's chip orders for iPhone SE for the third quarter will likely be similar to that for the second quarter, according to DigiTimes.

Chances the the rumor is true (IMHO): 90%. I the iPhone SE is selling quite well. I also think that though sales of the iPhone 6s/6s Plus are slowing, the fall debut of the iPhone 7/7 Plus will significantly revise sales.
