Chrominator is useful for sprucing up logos, text in Final Cut Pro X

If you're a Final Cut Pro X user, Noise Industries' $49 Tokyo Chrominator is a useful tool for adding production value to logos and text. You can take any graphic shape or FCP X title and quickly give it a glossy 3D bevelled look complete with animated lighting.

With Tokyo Chrominator, you can adjust the animation controls to add a rotating shine to your object without the need for keyframing. The Chrominator template can be found under Tokyo Chrominator in your FCP X Effects browser. The animation controls are easy to use (well, unless you're completely new to Apple's high end, video editing software).

You can also customize effects with Chrominator's editing tools. Whats more, the software's Tokyo Alpha Creator is a nifty utility that gives editors an instant alpha channel if a graphic doesn't already have one.

In addition to the basic version of the effect (which are easy to customize) there are six presets available. They include gold, silver, brass and more.

If you need to bring new life to logos and text in Final Cut Pro X, the Noise Industries' tool makes it simple. (You will need to install FxFactory before using Chrominator.)
