IBM and Apple have had a great working relationship for the past several years, one that is paying off for both companies in terms of powerful enterprise apps that work on Apple's iOS hardware and pull data from IBM "big iron". But the partnership has other benefits, too -- take, for example, the free iOS app that IBM has created for the 2016 Masters Tournament.
This app just keeps getting better. Not only can iPhone and iPad owners watch golf's best players compete in the tournament with streaming video coverage of all four tournament days (April 9 - 12, 2016), but this year's version of the app has added iOS 9 support and more.
Have a 12.9-inch iPad Pro? Take advantage of the picture-in-picture support and watch a stream of live play while checking the scoreboard. On the big iPad Pro, the small PiP image is big enough for easy viewing. The app also supports multitasking this year, so you can actually get some work done while keeping an eye on the action.
IBM has also added Apple Watch support this year, and an updated leaderboard and statistics will be available on the device throughout the tournament.
