Potential lawsuit looming over ‘Error 53’ problems

Another day, another (possible) lawsuit. According to The Guardian, one firm of U.S. lawyers is planning to bring a class action lawsuit against Apple over the “Error 53” codes brouhaha.

A UK barrister told The Guardian that Apple’s “reckless” policy of effectively killing people’s iPhones following the software upgrade could potentially be viewed as an offense under the Criminal Damage Act 1971. The act makes it an offense to intentionally destroy the property of another.
