Although recent computer bag designs have trended towards more leather, canvas, and other natural materials, there are some folks who just want a clean modern look when they're carrying around their 21st-Century equipment. Booq today announced the new $130 Saddle carbon briefcase, which can hold a laptop up to the size of the 15-inch MacBook Pro plus a lot more.
The lead designer at Booq -- Kema Subsomboon -- says that "Booq fans really loved the clean, tailored look, spacious interior and slim profile of the Boa saddle. We designed the Saddle carbon to keep each of those favorite features, but updated the materials to something more lightweight that offers carriers a fresh, professional style without the added price tag."
The bag uses a tapered design to make it appear smaller than it is and is made of polyester materials that provide durability and light weight. Inside, there's a main compartment for books, documents and even a water bottle with pockets for organization. A separate laptop compartment features padding to keep your computer safe from drops and bumps. The outside of the bag features a luggage trolley pass-through for easy airport transport, an adjustable shoulder strap, a zippered pocket for a phone and travel documents, and a large back pocket that's perfect for an iPad.
Little touches that you're sure to love include a detachable key ring, the unique Terralinq serial number tag to ensure that your bag gets back to you if lost, and best of all, a five-year warranty. If past experience is any indicator, the Saddle carbon should hold up to years of usage. The new bag is available for purchase on Booq's website today.
