How to delete iOS apps you don’t use

According to a TIME study, mobile device users have about an average of 42 apps on their gadgets, but only use about 10 of ‘em daily (I think my wife has about 142, all of which are always up and running unless I close them.) This puts a drain on battery life, so why not trash the apps you don’t use?

To do this on an iPhone or iPad, tap and hold the icon on any app icon. All of the app icons on all your iOS device will start jiggling. Most will have a little X in the top left corner. Tap the X, then choose Delete, on apps you no longer want.
