Three Korean telecom companies to start selling the Apple Watch

Three Korean telecom wireless telecom communications operators — KT, SK Telecom and LG Unplus — will soon start carrying the Apple Watch, reports News1, a Seoul-based news agency. KT will start selling the smartwatch as early as this week. Timing for the other two telecom companies hasn't been confirmed, adds News1 (as noted by BrightWire, a global investment newswire).

The Apple Watch has only been distributed in Korea so far by the online Apple Store and the company’s premium reseller Frisbee. Apple appears to have recently expanded the supplies to the carriers on consistent demand, says News1.

An SK Telecom official declined to reveal which models of the Apple Watch will be sold. KT and LG Uplus said they will officially announce the release later.
