iTunes Match, iCloud Music Library track limits finally increase to 100,000

For years, those who have large libraries of ripped CD tracks have found that they can only add 25,000 of those tracks to their iTunes Match and iCloud Music Library libraries. Kirk McElhearn reported on his Kirkville blog that Apple has increased the number to 100,000 tracks.

McElhearn received confirmation from a number of sources who suddenly found that they could crack the 25,000 track limit, and MacRumors later received official Apple confirmation from none other than Eddy Cue, who had said earlier in 2015 that the limit would be increased to 100,000.

I guess it's time to pull out the old external SuperDrive and start ripping tunes again!
