Outback Solo offers ruggedly handsome protection for an iPad Pro

WaterField Designs’ Outback Solo for the iPad Pro offers a spacious, elegant case that’s ruggedly handsome and durable. The $89 case — which also works just fine with the iPad Air — is made of waxed canvas and premium leather.

Not only does it hold your iPad Pro with style, it has room for an keyboard, such as Apple’s Smart Keyboard or the Logitech Create (previous versions of the Outback Solo were a bit too smaller for the latter). Two front pockets lets you stash items such as an iPhone, Apple Pencil, charger or wallet.

An optional strap ($19) transforms the case into an over-the-shoulder bag. I’d recommend springing for this as it's extremely handy when you’re hurrying to make a flight or traversing campus.

The Outback Solo is durable and offers decent protection. It cradles the iPad Pro with neoprene enveloped in highly water-resistant, tan waxed canvas. If you’re on the go with the super-sized tablet, there’s no case that better combines looks and practicality.
