The WatchStand Charging Dock is a great Apple Watch and iPhone docking station/stand

There are several cool docking stations for the Apple Watch, but the Griffin WatchStand Powered Charging Station has an advantage in that it works with both the Apple smartwatch and an iPhone. It’s a new, powered version of Griffin’s WatchStand Charging Dock, which was released earlier this year.

It's a dock that lets you showcase the Apple Watch and iPhone’s good looks while they’re charging thanks to two USB ports. The ebony pedestal looks classy on a desk, nightstand, or tabletop and allows you to power up the smart watch in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Conveniently, it works with all types of Apple Watch bands (from the Sport model to semi-flexible ones), as well as any iPhone with a Lightning port.

The WatchStand houses the MagSafe charging cable that comes with the Apple Watch (there's no cable included with the Griffin product). To get started you simply feed the MagSafe cable through the center of the post, then place the Apple Watch against the cradle. The MagSafe connector's magnet snaps itself onto the back of the watch and begins charging.

The thing that sets the WatchStand apart from some competitors is that its weighted base has a place to store and charge your iPhone. The raised lip on the front of the dock holds the phone at a convenient angle for viewing. The Griffin dock also helps alleviate cable management problems thanks to its grooved post for wrapping extra cord length around.

The no-scratch felt platform offers a convenient, safe place to lay your iPhone while it’s charging. WatchStand’s weighted base has non-skid padding that keeps it in place on your desk or countertop.

All this will set you back US$59.99. It's a reasonable price for this well-crafted product if you own both an iPhone and an Apple Watch.
