Notable apps and app updates for November 25, 2015

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they're popular and deserve mention. Here are today's picks for iOS and Mac OS X:

iOS Apps/Updates

9M Interactive has announced Ultimate Tennis 1.5. It’s a free tennis simulation game that offers a mix between mobile tennis gameplay and RPG elements. 

Vacata has released Task Manager 1.1.2, a new version of the $1.99 app that helps users to manage and schedule their activities throughout the day. Users can create individual tasks, as well as combine multiple tasks into one project.

Dave Cheng Apps has introduced BendyBooth 1.0.0. It lets you use crazy face effects and silly voice effects to create funny videos. BendyBooth is free, but does offer in-app purchases.

Mac OS X Apps/Updates

Hyperbolic Software has rolled out Tidy Up 4.1.8, the latest version of its duplicate finder and disk tidying utility for Mac OS X. 

It locates duplicate items using a wide range of criteria including owner application,time created or modified, name, label, extension and content. Version 4 introduces full El Capitan compatibility, a new view by duplicate group, a quick “auto-check” feature, and new smart search methods. It also sports a rewritten search engine.

Tidy Up 4.1.8 requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later. It costs US$29.99. Users of Tidy Up version 3.x can upgrade for a special price. Go here for details.
